Dr. Padmaja Chalasani is a dedicated and experienced primary care physician with over 30 years of medical practice. With a career spanning both rural and urban settings, Dr. Chalasani is currently practicing at Grand Lake Primary Care in St. Marys, OH, where she has been providing quality care since January 2022. Prior to this, she served the St. Marys community as a primary care physician at St. Marys Family Practice from 1998 to 2021. Dr. Chalasani completed her medical residency in Internal Medicine at Catholic Medical Center Brooklyn & Queens, affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, from 1995 to 1998. She also had the opportunity to observe medical clinics in New Bremen, OH, early in her career, before practicing as a general physician at Ranga Nursing Home in India from 1991 to 1994. Dr. Chalasani holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Rangaraya Medical College, Andhra University, India, where she achieved top honors, including first ranks in Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology. Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Chalasani is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and continues to contribute to the health and well-being of the rural communities she serves. Dr. Chalasani maintains certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine, with certification periods from 1998 to the present.
